Choose Your Delivery Option
Select the method that best fits your budget and comfort level. Whether you pick it up or have it brought to your door, we support you through the whole process.
How Delivery Works
A simple, 4-step roadmap. We manage the scheduling and handoffs so you can stay focused on planning your menu and trailer design.
Build & Final Prep
Once your custom food trailer is built, our team conducts final quality checks and prepares it for safe transport. Custom builds require a dedicated production window, which we will outline for you upon ordering.
Shipping
Your trailer begins its journey to the destination port. Shipping times depend on the carrier schedule and your specific location. We will share tracking updates and estimated arrival windows as soon as they are available.
Arrival & Release Coordination
When the trailer arrives, there are standard release steps that must be completed before it can leave the terminal if you chose port pickup. We will contact you to explain exactly what is needed so you can secure its release smoothly.
Final Handoff
Port Pickup: You or your hired transporter arrive at the terminal to receive the trailer.
Door Delivery: If you selected our door delivery option, the trailer is scheduled and transported directly to your final address.
Delivery Timelines (What to Expect)
Timelines can vary based on customization, carrier schedules, and destination processing. We provide milestone updates so you always know what stage your trailer is in.
Production Time
Custom builds generally take 6-8 weeks for fabrication and quality checks. Ready-stock trailers ship sooner.
Transit Range
Shipping transit times vary by your location and port destination. We provide an estimated window upon dispatch.
Port Arrival
Terminal processing and customs release times fluctuate. We notify you well before arrival so you can prepare.
Final Delivery
If opting for door delivery, the final transport leg is scheduled immediately following port release.
New to Port Pickup? Here’s the Simple Version
If you choose our free port delivery option but have never done this before, don't worry. We help you understand the process before it happens.
When the trailer nears arrival, we will notify you. Required release steps must be completed before the terminal allows pickup.
What you’ll need to plan for:
- A capable towing vehicle or a hired local transporter
- Scheduling a pickup window with the terminal
- A basic visual arrival inspection before driving off
Door Delivery Explained
If you don't want to deal with the port at all, this option is for you. It is ideal for customers who want a completely hands-off experience.
Door delivery is offered at a fixed price, so you know the delivery cost in advance. We’ll coordinate the final handoff and provide timing updates so you can prepare for arrival.
What you’ll need to plan for:
- A delivery address with enough access/space for trailer drop-off
- Someone available to receive the trailer at the scheduled handoff time
- A quick visual inspection at delivery (exterior, tires, lights, hitch/coupler, doors)
Documents, Tracking & Support
Practical steps to ensure a smooth, documented handoff and quality compliance.
Tracking Updates
We share tracking information once the carrier processes your food trailer shipment, allowing you to monitor its progress.
Arrival Notice & Release
You will receive an arrival notice prior to arrival. This gives you time to complete the necessary terminal release steps before scheduling your pickup or delivery.
Recommended Inspection
Upon receiving the trailer, we recommend a practical visual check: inspect the exterior panels, tires, lights, hitch/coupler, and doors. Report any visible transit damage immediately.
